Dr. Ashutosh Shah is a well-known plastic Surgeon in Surat, (Gujarat) with a vast experience since 2004 in micro-vascular and plastic surgery. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Podiatry Association (IPA) since its inception. He is a member of the Executive committee of IPA Surat branch. He is also a member of Diabetic Foot Society of India (DFSI). He is involved in Diabetic foot care since his initial days of practice and has saved many toes and foot from amputation. He is master in Debridement, wound cover and healing of large diabetic wounds.
He has taken training at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore for Diabetic foot surgeries. He is pioneer in advance diabetic foot surgeries in Gujarat. He also performs internal offloading and tendon transfer surgeries also. He can cover almost any type of wounds provided stable general and local condition. He is also expert in Microvascular reconstruction. He is also well qualified to understand biomechanics involving the assessment of the structure, alignment and function of the feet and legs.
